The canadians, other equipment and accessories available to rent are described here.
Our canadians are made out of aluminium, brand Linder INKAS. This model has 2 seats and is a robust and stable kind. We have 2 different sizes, it's the length that sets them apart.
Canoe and what is included in canoe rental
Canoe 495
Canoe type that is 495 cm long, maximum load capacity 400 kg (yellow handle). The empty canoe weighs 36 kg, and has a noon.
This canoe is appropriate for 2 adults, alternatively 2 adults and a small/medium child.

Canoe 525 XL
Canoe type that is 525 cm long, maximum load capacity 400 kg (green handle). The empty canoe weighs 38 kg, and has three noons.
This canoe is appropriate for 2 or 3 adults, alternatively 2 adults and two small/medium children. Can also work for 2 adults and 3 small children for a day trip if you don't have a lot of packing.
For overnight stays when you have more packing, the longer type of canoe can also be a good option.

Canoe cart
Included with canoe rental. Required when you bring the canoe to the loading place.
We have a few extra to rent for those who have their own canoe and need a cart to transport the canoe through the long lift.
The canoe cart is brought with the canoe. During transportation, it is attached with one of the canoe straps.

Paddle
Included with canoe rental. Different lengths are selected on site. We also have a few short paddles for children.
Paddles are labeled with a colored band for each respective length.
The length we recommend is: when you stand the paddle on the ground in front of you, the handle should be aligned with your chin (between chin and shoulder).

Life jacket
The life jacket is included in the canoe rental.
For those who do not know how to swim, a life jacket with a collar should be selected. It can also be selected for those who know how to swim if you prefer it.
The type of life jacket makes your face point upward if you end up in the water.
Everyone should wear a life jacket, it's a requirement to be allowed to rent a canoe.

Canoe vest
The life jacket is included in the canoe rental.
For those who do know how to swim at least 200 m, there are canoe vests. They are a bit easier to wear, but are only there to assist buoyancy.You need to be able to do swim strokes to keep your body positioned correctly in the water.
Everyone should wear a life jacket, it's a requirement to be allowed to rent a canoe.
The life jacket is selected on site, different sizes are available.

Additional equipment that is not included with canoe rental
Extra seat
Since our canoes only have 2 seats you can rent extra seats when you are more than two people in one canoe. Is attached to one of the noons with zip ties.
Can be booked in advance or be collected and paid on site.
For smaller children we recommend that they sit on the floor of the canoe, with something you bring in the packing. Camping seat pads and sleeping pads are also available to rent. It's safer to sit on the floor. Additionally, you get a lower center of gravity in the canoe, which is preferable.
